Our company is pleased to propose you sawn goods we produce at own production facility, from the raw material that passed quality control. Our raw material meets completely all ecological and functional standards in relation to the sawn goods adopted in Europe. This is wood of conifer kinds of trees of the highest types.
You can order from us: timber, edged board, unedged board, molded board, floor board, running measures are of both standard size and by individual order. We are also ready to calculate for you all materials needed for construction of house, cottage or bath-house.
We will help you not to be lost in the variety of sawn goods proposed at the market today; we will advise you about the use of these or those materials for your purposes. Our range of products is being enlarged taking your requests into account. All goods are made not only by the standards presented on the site, but also by individual orders. You will be pleasantly surprised with the speed and quality of fulfillment of the orders as well as with out creative approach to every client.
The timber
The timber is an ecologically friendly construction material with the highest operational characteristics. Well dried timber keeps warmth perfectly; it doesn’t shrink and doesn’t require additional finishing. To give additional strength characteristics to timber and improve its resistance to external impacts it is dried, treated with antiseptic and other impregnations against decay and insects. Timber surface is chipped. The wall from well made and treated timber keeps warmth, doesn’t let moisture pass through and at this it “breathes”; it keeps the shape perfectly and has excellent strength characteristics. Impregnated with special materials this sawn good possesses high fire-resistance. Timber is very popular as construction material for expensive and elite cottages. Timber is ecologically clean construction material. We supply timber dried to 16-20% of humidity, this timber doesn’t change the house shape at shrinkage and practically doesn’t crack. The house from timber doesn’t require additional finishing, maybe only some lacquering that underlines wood structure. The timber is very strong, doesn’t crack, doesn’t let the moisture pass through. It is easy to build from timber and terms of construction are minimum. During operation the timber doesn’t shrink, doesn’t deform and doesn’t lose shape. And ready walls look as monolith and nice even without plastering and wall-papers.
The house built from our timber will also be nice, warm and strong.
Sawing of wood can be combined (mixed), slash and radial. Materials without bark at edges is called edged and with bark – unedged.
Edged boards
Edged boards are boards from logs and sawn at edges in such a way so it doesn’t have bark on the lateral edges. As a rule edged board has width twice the thickness.
Edged board is sawn good that is in the most demand in construction. It is used not only for outside construction works but also for most inside finishing operations. Preparation of roofs for covering (roof boarding), rough ceiling boarding (in wooden houses and cottages), floors, and production of partition frames is far from being the complete list characterizing the area for application of this material.
The raw material for production of edged board is selected depending on its designation and requirements to strength, heat conductivity and moisture resistance. The best raw material for edged board is pine and fir trees.
Today the range of edged board as construction material is widely represented. Price indicators for edged sawn goods are different. They depend mainly on kinds of trees, number of finished treatment processes, sizes etc.
Types of saw cut
Saw cut of the sawn goods for production of boards is made with two main ways – radial and slash.
1. Radial sawing. At radial sawing section line passes through the middle of trunk. The board made in such a way is less subject to the effect of moisture and deformation during drying however because of large raw material consumption for production in such way the price for this board is considerably high.
2. Semi-radial sawing. At radial sawing angle of slope of annual tree circles in ready good is from 90 to 60 degrees. This is the difference between radial sawing and semi-redial sawing. Semi-radial sawing has angle of slope of ready circles equal to 45 degrees. This allows saving the raw material but reduces the characteristics of the ready board.
3.Slash sawing. At slash sawing of the log into boards with slash method the cutting plain passes at the distance from the log core. As a result the boards have brighter texture but on the other hand they are more exposed to expansion and shrinkage loss. Main production peculiarity of such sawing method is big “output” of the ready goods that makes it possible for small companies to produce such sawn goods of slash sawing while radial sawn goods are produced mainly by large producers.
Unedged board
Unedged board is a board with not sawn or partially sawn edges. It is oftener used for production of different floorings, boarding, roof boarding, elements of support structures and other works where there are no special requirements towards appearance. Quality of sawing of the unedged boards is a sufficient parameter. Low-quality sawing may result in different chips and indents that make processing more difficult and spoil appearance of the good. Knots make significant impact on the quality of unedged boards. Besides spoiling the appearance the knots break homogeneous structure of the sawn goods as well as integrity of the board as a whole. The knots reduce the strength of unedged boards at such processing as stretching along grains or on curve. Moreover the knots can cause curving of grains that leads to curving of the sawn good. The less knots the board has and the less their size is, the more qualitative is unedged board.
One more possible defect of timber is cracks. Such defect influences directly the quality of material as it reduces its strength, breaks integrity so reducing service life, leading to possible board crooking. Crooking is a change of shape of cross section of the sawn good after board drying or moistening. One of the types of crooking is longitudinal crooking i.e. board curving by length into arched shape.
Besides crooking similar effect can be so called board twist. Under twist is understood change of board shape into spiral one that in its turn hampers timber processing and use consequently reducing significantly the sawn good quality.
Our company has very attentive approach to the quality control of all produced and supplied products. We do our best so our sawn goods do not let you down.
